  • Responsibilities

    PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

    Global Center of Expertise (CoE), a subdivision of SAP Digital Business Services, provides world-class high-quality support services in the framework of Premium Engagements for our customers. To support the customer in a project-based way, the Global CoE takes over the ownership for a successful customer project. During the whole lifetime of the customer project, CoE support engineers and architects are working as technical advisors w.r.t. installation, upgrade, configuration, and deployment of best practices with a goal to help the customer run at their best and transform their business. The success will be measured by the business outcome and the value for the customer.

    Customer engagements are being tracked by Global CoE through Deployment Rooms via CRM@SAP system. The workload in the Hybrid Operations Deployment Room continues to grow and needs extra hands. The main task of the intern is to support operations of Hybrid Operations Deployment Room. In addition, intern gets exposure to newest technologies (Robotic Process Automation, SAP Analytics Cloud, Conversational AI, CI/CD toolchains, etc.) and, possibly, SAP customers engagements.

    TASKS

    • Work closely with SAP Mission Control Center
    • Maintain Customer Cases and Activities in CRM@SAP
    • Follow-up on Activities and Opportunities with CoE team and update them in CRM
    • Scan the Hybrid Operations Deployment Room Inbox and assign tasks to the team
    • Use SAP Analytics Cloud reporting to get insights into customer delivery metrics
    • Use SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori Dashboards and CRM to generate monthly and quarterly Global Report
    • Analyze data in CRM (e.g. search for isolated Service Orders)
    • Contact Technical Quality Manager (TQM) for status updates (e.g. confirmation of project GoLive)
    • Analyze customer lists and identify data cleansing tasks
    • Prepare reports and management summaries on team’s achievements
    • Enhance the documentation in the SAP Jam collaboration platform for Hybrid Operations Deployment Room
    • Work on technical projects and PoCs to realize innovative ideas the team is driving
  • Qualifications

    WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

    Being part of a team of highly skilled experts working with SAP’s largest customers and newest SAP technologies, you get exposure to technologies (Robotic Process Automation, SAP Analytics Cloud, Conversational AI, Machine Learning, CI/CD toolchains, etc.) via internal hands-on projects, Proofs of Concept (PoC), demos, knowledge transfer sessions, or potentially a customer engagement.

    In addition:

    • Experience of working with a CRM system, BI Reporting and other SAP technologies
    • Get to know SAP MaxAttention Service Portfolio
    • Get an in-depth understanding of Global CoE processes for Customer Service Order fulfilment in CRM@SAP
    • Build your network with SAP colleagues

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • High sense of data quality, transparent reporting, and information design
    • Experienced with Microsoft tool suite, knowledge of MS Teams and Azure DevOps is a plus
    • Programming and technology/engineering skills
    • Self-motivated and high due diligence (i.e. independently following up on tasks and bringing your own ideas to life)

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • The candidate should be currently enrolled in a Master’s or undergraduate program in STEM, business administration, or another related field
    • 1-2 years of industry experience will be plus
