  • Responsibilities

    PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

    Creation and execution of internal employee communications campaigns that promotes the purpose, beliefs and principles of the Global Services Delivery (GSD) organization. Works directly with the Strategic Communication office. The Internal Communications Specialist will work with different levels and staff throughout the organization to drive employee awareness and engagement by promoting the key objectives of the organization through relevant, consistent and timely communication and interaction. This position will also be the primary supporting content research and creating for “Go-Live” communications on GSD Jam site and internal communication project support.

    EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

    • Create and manage internal communications that ensure the consistency of corporate messaging and identity, including content for internal employee communications, the GSD Jam site, and corporate portal.
    • Support the creation of internal GSD Practice newsletters and communications, including soliciting content contributions and creating, proof reading, and editing content
    • Write articles on GSD success stories for the corporate portal for internal use.
    • Participate in creating content for internal marketing campaigns
    • Identify areas of opportunity for increasing visibility of messaging.
    • Supports developing of new space on our GSD Jam for “Project go-live” announcements.
    • Develop go-live stories based on content provided by other areas.
    • Organize and maintain historic content, and assist others in providing relevant materials for business needs, such as presentations

  • Qualifications

    SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in creating, proofing, and editing technical and promotional communications for internal use.
    • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an easily understandable written format.
    • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
    • Able to manage and prioritize simultaneous, multiple projects with varying deadlines, including ensuring contributors provide content in a timely manner.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Demonstrated ability to correspond and interact with individuals across all areas of a company

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in English, Business, Communications and or Marketing
