    PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES  The OCEO Executive Events Team delivers gold-standard event experiences that engage and inspire both external and internal audiences within SAP’s Tier 1 event portfolio to increase revenue and growth, build loyalty, satisfaction, and awareness and propel SAP to a top ten brand.

    EXPECTATION AND TASKS 

    We are seeking an intern with high-quality work standards, honesty and integrity to join our fast-paced, OCEO Executive Events Team. We are looking for an individual to assist with multiple projects ranging from communications, operations, graphic design, event support, and administration. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of high-level event planning and execution within a corporate atmosphere.

    • Collaborate with team members on execution of high-profile customer and internal events, supporting SAP’s senior leadership and board members
    • Support the creation and execution of event communications, including customer-facing emails, internal communications, presentations, etc.
    • Work closely with the communications lead and graphics leads to create and manage digital event content (event websites, internal portal sites).
    • Create and format both internal and customer-facing PowerPoint presentations
    • Collaborate with team on new ideas for communications and event execution 
    • Adhere to SAP brand guidelines and standards throughout all projects
    • Production support for printed event materials, such as name badges and onsite signage
    • Asist team members with administrative tasks related to events, such as proofreading, data entry, research, registration reporting
    • Operational event support – work with various event work streams, vendors, and hotels
  • Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Looking for candidates that are currently enrolled in either of the following degree: marketing, communications or graphic design
    • Looking for candidates that can work fulltime in our Newtown Squareo office and available to start in January.

     

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 

    • Strong project management skills
    • Dynamic self-starter with a high degree of confidence, aptitude and self-motivation
    • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously 
    • Strong attention to detail 
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Needs to be professional, reliable and have a strong work ethic 
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Bonus strengths: Graphic Design Programs - Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop; Microsoft SharePoint and/or Google Docs
