Our Junior Professional Intern Program offers an exciting opportunity for a potential career in SAP Digital Business Services. The Program is designed to attract outstanding, highly qualified, motivated individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to development, supported by academic success, achievement and demonstrates the potential for leadership. The Program recruits candidates through a highly selective and competitive process and then facilitates their rapid integration into the SAP business and culture. We are looking for passionate people with excellent technical and communication skills who are interested in not only an internship but the potential for a career upon graduation. Through our on-the-job training, you’ll get the ideal preparation and knowledge you need for a successful start and integration into our team.

This position is based at SAP Office in Newtown Square, PA.

Six month internship with a start date of October 1, 2018.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The Value Assurance Delivery Organization, a subdivision of SAP Digital Business Services, has the goal and mission to ensure optimal performance, availability and smooth operation of SAP S/4HANA solution as well as to optimize technical and business processes by delivering services to SAP customers. In this position, you will work on the activities below:

• Customer facing projects with SAP’s premium customers.
• Develop project management skills and support ongoing S/4HANA projects across all industries (utilities, financial services, oil and gas, retail, etc.).
• Work on strategic innovation topics such as Big Data/IoT/Machine Learning/Cloud/other emerging technologies and develop use cases for customers.
• Build and maintain a Lessons Learned S/4HANA repository to share with team members.
• Participate in delivery of customer facing S/4HANA workshops.
• Prepare and present demos of an S/4HANA system.
• Access to SAP soft skill and technical trainings.

To meet the challenging requirements, you should be a quick learner with strong analytical skills. You should also be creative, open minded, and possess the ability to communicate and convince others based on technical facts and details.  You should have an interest in Big Data or System Operations.  As part of a global team you will be working closely with SAP Directors, Engineering Architects, and Technical Quality Managers along with Development and the global SAP Support Centers to assist our customers with their business solutions.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Current Seniors graduating by December 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Physics, Math, Engineering or related field.
• Recent graduates (within 1 year) with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Physics, Math, Engineering or related field.
• Any SAP coursework is a plus or interest in:
  • Distribution/ Warehouse & Inventory Management/Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling/ Business Intelligence & Reporting/Data Warehouse.
  • Programming languages (e.g. Java, C++, ABAP).
• Excellent GPA.
• Candidate must be able to take a technical approach to issues, strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• US Work Authorizations required.
