The SAP Ariba Customer Marketing team is looking for a creative, highly motivated, team player with a growth mindset who is interested in developing a career in events marketing. This internship is based in Palo Alto, CA. In this role, you will report to the Global Customer Events Marketing Lead and work on projects such as; data analysis, demand generation and audience acquisition, digital marketing, internal communications, event planning and management, and content creation. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to support both solution and campaign launch activity for SAP Ariba Live and virtual supplier success events. This internship is a great opportunity to develop a strong foundation in events marketing and gain experience working at a world leading global B2B technology company.

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

• Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Write, manage and publish blog posts
• Write and support internal communications
• Work with Account Management teams on audience acquisition
• Organize marketing sponsored event activities
• Support the creation and execution of marketing materials for sales and field marketing resources
• Create and helps manage digital event content
• Promote event content through digital channels
• Collect and analyze event registration data

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project and task management
• Foundational understanding of marketing, analytics, and digital marketing concepts
• PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must
• Working knowledge of content marketing and developing an editorial calendar
• Graphic design, video production, web design, and video editing skills are a plus

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, Masters, MBA or PhD degree program which is applicable to the position.
