OBJECTIVE  At the SAP AppHaus we make innovation real. On our customer projects we leverage a human centered approach powered by Design Thinking. Learnings from our projects flow back into the development organizations.

We are looking for an intern to run operations for our creative space, the SAP AppHaus in Palo Alto. Primary responsibilities will involve bookings, showcasing, managing and redesigning the space. In addition to AppHaus operations, this role also entails multimedia storytelling. You will help translate our customer successes into simple and consumable stories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Lead operations and co-ordination for our creative space, the SAP AppHaus. This involves space bookings, space tours for visitors, event and workshop coordination and more.
• Contribute to our space redesign projects.
• Work with the global communications team, supporting both internal and external communications.
• Ensure all digital content being captured has gone through the right internal protocols (release forms, GDPR, approvals, etc.) 
• Organize and manage all AppHaus digital media artifacts for future marketing purposes.
• Document our customer workshops and engagements by capturing rich videos and photos.
• Produce short videos and animations that showcase our customer successes, design process and outcomes, to be shared on several internal and external marketing channels. 
• A high degree of professionalism & communicational maturity is expected. Additionally, openness to sharing and learning is required as we are a very heterogeneous and diverse team with a broad mix of skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in multimedia
• Must be enrolled at an academic institution to qualify
• Photography and videography skills
• Exposure to photo and video editing tools such as the Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro or similar
• Motivated person who can translate great stories into consumable content. 
• Exceptional written & communication skills
