PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

SAP’s Developer Relations organization is all about actively collaborating and connecting with developers to make them learn, adopt and be successful with building the next generation of innovative apps for UX, IoT, Cloud, Big and Real-Time data. We are evangelizing SAP’s technology portfolio/programs, like SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Leonardo, etc., and we are acting as developer advocates to drive a developer-centric internal SAP culture.

As the developer relations intern, you will work on a wide range of activities in the above spectrum of which two key delivery will be:

• Drive improvements of our existing internal web page (Jam) targeting our internal SAP organizations
• Support our developer strategy team with the gathering of intelligence from our external developer community by building external surveys and help with the analysis.

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

• Drive an improvement project for improvement of our internal web page (structure and content)
• Support development of regular stakeholder reporting
• Assist with collection and evaluation of various sources of developer intelligence.
• Support developer segmentation activities and other developer marketing activities.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• A good understanding and willingness to work with a Developer/Technical audience
• Proven track record of ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects with attention to detail and delivery dates
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate in writing and verbally 
• Strong writing, editing and proof reading skills
• Technical experience or technical interest is preferred

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, Masters, MBA or PhD degree program which is applicable to the position.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
