    CONTRACT DURATION: 6 MONTHS CONTRACT HOURS: 40 HOURS/WEEK ANTICIPATED START DATE: DECEMBER 2019 OFFICE LOCATION: NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA

    PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

    The SAP Global Sales Operations Business Growth Initiatives (GSO BGI) team focuses on enabling SAP’s growth strategy by supporting go-to-market planning, new solution launches, integration of acquisitions, sales incentives, and field engagement and communications. 

    The Field Engagement Intern will support the Global Field Engagement and Launch Services team, a subset of the GSO BGI, which provides communications strategy and deployment guidance for annual milestones, corporate strategy, and executive requests.

    This individual will support the definition, development, and ongoing execution of a sales engagement framework, knowledge exchange model, and communication strategies. She or he will work with GSO stakeholders, subject matter experts, and content owners across the entire business and around the world to define communication objectives, core messages, and intended audiences for business-critical sales and operations initiatives. They will also contribute to sales engagement efforts, using digital, social, and multimedia communications methods, to increase consumption and ongoing adoption of sales priorities, strategic initiatives, and go-to-market guidance.

    EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

    Main responsibilities include:

    • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the field communications framework
    • Produce and refine sales communication (written, visual/infographics, and video
    • Engage stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop field communications.
    • Support enhancements and updates to sales communications internal social platforms
    • Support cross-team learning programs, team calls, and other internal projects

    SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

    • Creative and innovative thinking
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
    • Persistent, diligent, self-starter, with attention to detail
    • Independent and able to work in virtual/remote setting with global stakeholders
    • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects while prioritizing time and tasks
    • Ability to work in a fast-pace, deadline-driven environment
    • Project management and multimedia experience a plus
  • Qualifications

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field (English, Communications, Marketing)

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Requires candidates to currently be enrolled or recently completed an undergraduate or advance degree program
