    The HR Business Partner organization serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders across a vast landscape of topics including: Operational Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Performance and Talent Management, Employee Development & Career Coaching, and Employee Relations. 

    The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) internship provides current students or recent graduates with the opportunity to consult our HRBPs and first line managers on the above-mentioned HR disciplines on a global scale supporting the Head of HR for the Office of the CEO (oCEO). Selected candidate will also have the unique opportunity to learn our internal Human Resources systems (SuccessFactors) and processes to support to the HRBPs on day-to-day operations.

    The objective of the SAP internship program is to develop new HR talent, who are well versed in all areas of HR and can move into an HR advisor (or similar entry level role) as a next career path within SAP.

    EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

    We’re looking for an individual who is a self-starter, someone who aims to go above expectations, wants to learn something new every day, and wants to engage with the community at SAP:

    • Serves as an analyst for assigned HRBPs including analyzing, interpreting, and preparing a visual representation for customer delivery
    • Serve as a thought leader on the team by consistently contributing ideas and by developing new ways to bring value to your designated team of HRBPs; help with special projects and showcase your creativity
    • Provide day to day support to Global HRBPs which includes analyzing the HR system data, auditing organizational hierarchies, resolving system inaccuracies, and coaching leaders on tools and processes
    • Utilize expertise in SAP process, functionality, & analytics within HCM tools & propel the adoption of new tools within the business
    • Build and utilize a network of internal resources (including fellow team-members teammates) to fulfil requests from HRBPs
    • SAP runs SAP: be prepared to learn and become an expert in internal processes, functionality, & analytics within our SAP HR systems; learn and remember the HR annual processes
    • Showcase leadership skills by taking on initiatives aimed towards providing training and onboarding to new interns; be prepared to host or facilitate team meetings
    • Be curious, and find creative ways to help the HR community run simpler

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Requires candidates to be currently enrolled or recent graduate of a degree seeking program
    • Prefer Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Management, Business Administration or Psychology, with concentration in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Organizational Dynamics
    • Previous internship experience helpful
