    PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES

    The IT Mergers and Acquisition Center of Excellence (IT M&A CoE) is part of the IT Services - Innovation, Technology & Architecture area driving SAP internal strategic programs and IT integration of SAP acquisitions. The team powers SAP’s acquisition-based growth by delivering successful IT integrations, putting business value and end-user experience in the center of all activities. We deliver integration excellence, being the trusted IT M&A experts for the acquisitions and SAP. We would like to engage a motivated Intern and provide the opportunity to:

    • Work in a highly motivated international team (located across US, Canada, UK, Germany and India)
    • Manage and take responsibility for own defined tasks and projects
    • Get to know the area of IT M&A, SAP internal processes and SAP systems

    EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

    As Intern of the IT M&A CoE you will support our team in managing the following tasks:

    • Support the IT M&A Data Management workstream in one of M&A post-merger integration programs. Taking over responsibility for Data Management activities such as data analysis, data migration and data clean up
    • Plan, track, and schedule Data Management and Data Migration timelines, meetings and milestones using appropriate tools
    • Manage individual small projects like data clean up or Cut-over activities for running acquisition projects
    • Become part of our Agile / Scrum Team
    • Organization, moderation, and follow up of meetings and workshops
    • Support daily tasks of the Data Management workstream

    SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

    • Expertise in MS Office tools like Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc. is required
    • Very good oral and written communication skills are essential to deal with virtual and international teams
    • Ability to keep content and reporting updated
    • Team player
    • Pronounced quality awareness, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
    • General IT knowledge, interest in Data Management

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters or MBA degree program
    • Business Administration, Management, Business Information Technology, or adjacent disciplines
    • Previous work experience is advantageous but not mandatory
