     PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

    We are seeking a producer for our live-virtual global HR training programs. The “producer” role supports facilitators and students in the delivery of live-virtual training programs using Adobe Connect.

    EXPECTATION & TASKS

    Some specific tasks include taking the “producer” role for our delivery of the aspiring leader program “Prepare to Lead at SAP.” This program is for those who seek to become people leaders within the next 3 years, and addresses a variety of leadership topics and assignments. We will be delivering 96 live-virtual calls for this program alone in 2018. Some of the sessions are only 60 minutes in length (the initial 32 kick-off calls) and some are 1.5 hours in length (the 64 discussion calls that occur 2 weeks after the live program and 6 weeks after the live program). The “producer” is responsible to dial in 20 minutes early and to stay an additional 15 minutes afterwards to reset the rooms. We will host these calls in the US time-zone, the EMEA time-zone and in the APJ time-zone. The “Learning Culture Workshop” and “The Trustworthy Leader” are other live-virtual programs in need of producers. These calls are one hour in length and cover the global learning offerings available at SAP and the elements needed to become a “trustworthy leader” in the company.

    SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

    Activities include:

    • Hosting live virtual calls for a variety of learning programs
    • Supporting participants as they experience technical issues
    • Supporting facilitators during the calls
    • Engaging in practice sessions with live-virtual facilitators
    • Supporting our learning programs through assisting with Jam (wiki) sites
  • Qualifications

    Required competencies:

    • Communication skills
    • Working well with others (establishing a rapport with facilitators and participants)
    • Technical skills (Adobe Connect, Skype, and any other live-virtual tools we use) – these are similar to “WebEx” and other live-virtual platforms for long-distance education and training
    • Critical thinking
    • Troubleshooting issues that arise for participants on the phones or in the live-virtual rooms

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree-seeking student at an accredited institution

    QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Interest in training/education and ability to work well with people in a supportive role
    • Technical skills (Adobe Connect, Skype, and any other live-virtual tools we use) – these are similar to “WebEx” and other live-virtual platforms for long-distance education and training

    START DATE: APRIL 2019

    DURATION: 6 MONTHS
