PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

• To understand the run-book, set up the operational account, find out the system capacity across the multi-cloud environment
• To verify the new features released by cloud manufactures, report the issue by the ticket, provide the detailed report per release
• To work with peer team, verify different ops utilities and provide the documentation for the entire team

EXECTATION AND TASKS 

• The successful candidate will be working in an open environment where he/she manages the task from the design phase to the final deployment, always work with team members to find out the solution as best as it can be.
• In this role, the successful candidate will build our next-generation cloud operational infrastructure, research/analyze the latest technology to be applied in SAP multi-cloud environment.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Looking for a candidate who are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline with a focus on software development
• Looking for candidates who can work part time in our Palo Alto office

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 

• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, programming languages and operating systems
• Coding and Scripting experience, preferably in Shell, Python, Java, C++, Ruby or Go
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, ICMP and firewall
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
