    PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

    The Solutioning Center architects how SAP software will be implemented for our customers in North America, ultimately providing services solutioning and estimation support for SAP project delivery. We guide our customers - in partnership with colleagues from our sales and delivery teams - through strategic methods to produce comprehensive solution proposals that result in success for our customers, partners, and SAP. Our team acts as the unifying force behind all sales and delivery teams by analyzing, estimating, and proposing the right services for each customer implementing software from our SAP portfolio.

     

    To grow and transform the work of our team, we execute four strategic programs:

    • Integrated Solutioning: Develop and implement processes, guidelines, best practices and governance for an Integrated Solutioning approach across the solutioning team that blends traditional consulting services with premium engagement, innovation, and other strategic offerings.
    • Accelerated Frameworks: Provide templates, kits, and other mechanisms to enable end-to-end solutioning that is fully aligned with strategic corporate goals - accelerating sales, customer, and delivery success while improving efficiency.
    • Operational Excellence: Improve efficiency and effectiveness throughout the entire solutioning lifecycle with a clear and defined engagement model.
    • Communications & Talent Development: Increase communications to support tighter collaboration with stakeholders, increased brand presence, and change management activities while nurturing the continued development of our team.

     

    As an intern, you’ll support one or more of these programs which will allow you to gain deep insight into the Solutioning Center’s tasks and operations. You may be directly responsible for a specific deliverable or collaborate with other team members to produce multiple deliverables across one or more of these programs. In addition, you may find yourself supporting our high-performance team of solution architects in qualifying, staffing, and managing the solutioning of our various sales pursuits.

     

    EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

    • Work under the leadership of the program managers to produce assigned deliverables for one or more of our strategic programs, meeting deadlines with high quality and innovative output
    • Foster a team atmosphere of knowledge sharing and collaboration, supporting new team members while creating blog articles, wiki posts, and videos on a variety of topics to share on our team SharePoint
    • Support data analysis and reporting requests, from conducting extensive third-party research to performing data maintenance, cleansing, and structuring, to building management reports in SAP Analytics Cloud
    • Create, modify, and improve portfolio-based templates while assisting in the creation of new internal concepts and processes
    • Support our team in operations, enablement, deal preparation, and deal execution
    • Disrupt established thinking and innovate processes, procedures, and operations

    SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Sharepoint
    • Ability to flourish in an agile, fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Interest in learning and applying the latest technologies to business problems, including artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and machine learning

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Preferred to have a bachelor’s degree or in process of getting a bachelor’s degree (student intern)

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong academic performance
    • Enthusiastic, self-motivated learner, with a willingness to research topics and formulate own opinions
    • Demonstrated leadership and group facilitation skills
    • Preferred Majors/Minors: International Business, Business Systems & Analytics, Management & Leadership, Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or other relevant degree
