In this intern position you will be a part of SAP’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team working on relevant and impactful projects.  The SAP M&A Team is a business development unit focused on working with private equity firms and SAP customers to support their M&A transformation whether these are corporate mergers, business line divestitures, PE backed acquisitions, or any other transactional business change. The SAP M&A team is dedicated to helping SAP customers realize value from technology during these transformations.  The SAP M&A Team works across all lines of business, industries, executive levels, and PE funds.

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

As an intern with the SAP M&A Team you will work on efforts to help advance the objectives of this organization. Projects may include improvements in pipeline development, demand generation, sales motion playbooks, analytics and reporting capabilities, among other duties related to assisting SAP customer as their business changes. In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with SAP leaders, learn how SAP goes to market and interact with professionals in the industry.

• Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in a Masters or MBA degree program which is applicable to the position
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus but not required)
• Previous internship experience is a plus
• Previous work experience in consulting or project management is helpful
• Familiarity or experience with the M&A industry is a plus
• Familiarity with how technology is used to drive and add value in todays business world
