PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

Support the SAP News Services team in the daily management of the SAP News Center on SAP.com.

EXPECTATION AND TASKS

Support the SAP News Services team in preparing, publishing, and promoting brand journalism stories on the SAP News Center.

Tasks include:

• Working with internal stakeholders on intake and scheduling of stories submitted for publishing
• Performing editorial quality checks on submitted stories
• Preparing and publishing stories in WordPress, including selecting and sizing photos and graphics, tagging stories with appropriate topics, and optimizing stories for search (SEO)
• Promoting stories via newsletters and social channels

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• Strong English writing and editing skills.
• Knowledge of web publishing processes and WordPress is a plus.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver is also a plus.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in progress in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent English writing and editing skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with the social media landscape, including channels, best practices audiences, and publishing tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
