    The SAP SuccessFactors Competitive Intelligence team is on the cutting edge of enabling the field on how to be successful when in competitive situations.  Our small but nimble team are focused on supporting the global sales leaders and their account executive as well as our partner network to deliver a set of detailed toolkits highlighting our understanding and differentiation over a competitor.  We deliver data-driven insights to ensure the field can succeed and secure new business or expand our current footprint quickly.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for researching specific competitors, and creating field based materials built on a standard template that cover a number of areas such as company pivotal timeline moments, keyboard members or owners profiles, details on mergers and acquisition background, financials, product family, pricing, competitor sales pitch, areas where we have an advantage and objections we may have heard and how to counter these. The individual will also be responsible for creating and delivering podcasts and webinars and promoting these through a number of channels to our internal SAP audience, outlining the new content and how to best use it.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Working with the SAP SuccessFactors Competitive Intelligence team to research and capture background information on identified competitors in the HCM markets.  This role requires a person to be able to build internal facing materials using the current competitive templates to provide our sales organizations clear understanding the competitors, including an overview of the corporate background, organizational marketing and messaging, company sales pitch and public referenced wins or pricing metrics, as well as any analyst recognition. They will also then look at the SAP SuccessFactors selling points and create win themes to counter any marketing pitch or show our differentiators. The Intern will be guided by the team about the processes and method of capturing and sourcing the materials for the specific competitor and will be set specific competitors to research. This opportunity will provide an individual a great perspective in being able to understand from a sales perspective on how to identify differentiators, and areas of attack as well as being able to understand marketing. This role also provides the ability for someone to get a greater understanding of the HCM market from Major players and niche providers, as well as how to use public available sourced materials to assist in backing up claims or information. They will also be tasked with looking at ways to streamline and create more user-friendly/consumable materials for the field to use.

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • Student presently studying Computer Science or Human Resources courses
    • Top academic achiever & passionate about human capital management
    • High levels of curiosity, emotional intelligence, and autonomy
    • Good knowledge on Microsoft Suite
    • Excellent communication and writing skills
    • Social media and digital technology experience
    • Samples of past project management expertise a benefit
