The SAP Digital Platforms team is responsible for sap.com and associated digital properties, operations and capabilities supporting 47 countries globally. The SAP.com Customer and Developer experience leadership is looking for an Intern to support the build and run operations for SAP‘s digital landscapes and associated program activities.

This role is responsible for assisting in the management of sap.com and other digital entities including communications, content and assets for various areas of the global website and digital programs. The position provides a main point of contact for assigned requests, driving projects to completion through close collaboration with core platform team members and leadership to ensure efficient and timely production of a high-quality digital customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the support of planning and project management
• Assist in maintaining server upgrades and patches
• Help understand and document business needs
• Assist building demo pages in WordPress and AEM
• Assist with discovering and debugging issues found on web properties
• Help organize projects in accordance with requirements
• Assist with technical diagraming and documentation
• Assist with sap.com agile ceremonies and planning
• Leverage tools and technology for sap.com content and asset production

QUALIFICATIONS

• General knowledge of Web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Java/C#/PHP
• General knowledge of modern browsers such as IE11, Edge, Chrome, Firefox
• General knowledge of project management and issue tracking tools
• Exceptional organizational and planning skills and a proven ability to multi-task
• Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Basic understanding of content management systems such as WordPress or Adobe AEM
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality
• Ability to prioritize effectively to manage multiple projects
• Experience working in a team environment as well as independently
• Ability to collaborate across teams globally
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Strong desire to continually learn new technologies
• Willingness to acquire new skills to meet evolving needs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of design principles and commonly used tools

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• In pursuit of degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Topics of interest:
  • Computer Sciences, Web Development, Marketing & Business, Analytics, User Experience Design
• Relevant experience in study or similar position managing production processes and workflow
