    SALES OPERATIONS BUSINESS SERVICES

    Delivers tactical execution of standardized, scalable, sometimes automated operations services and support for sales and other revenue generating areas as appropriate. Works in centralized locations, virtually, through workflows and ticketing processes. Core tasks include:

    • Managing requests through workflows based on priority, complexity, and expertise.
    • Transferring (more complex) requests to the respective expert or stakeholder
    • Maintaining data and status in related workflow/ticketing systems and towards the requestor
    • Answering or delivering service with focus on quality and customer care

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

    GCO Operations focuses on the successful creation, deployment, and execution of sales supporting processes, tools, and services, across all GCO areas (incl. License, Cloud, Services, and Education Sales) and in close alignment with related lines of business (incl. HR and Finance). 

    Sales Operations Business Services focus on delivering tactical execution services. Delivery should occur in standard, scalable, and often automated ways. Services may have a specific priority focus or expertise, which is however delivered in a consistent and repetitive manner across SAP worldwide. 

    As a specialist, you execute transactional activities including process performance management, reporting, workflows, system maintenance and solving escalations. You further support knowledge management activities and produce related documentation. You will build your process and business knowledge to adhere to company standard. You are expected to deliver with quality and respond professionally to external and internal customer requests and build strong relationships with, team members and colleagues in other functions at SAP. 

    General role tasks and requirements:

    • Manage Requests/Workflows:  Prioritize and executE requests based on workflows, a clear understanding of the tasks, and awareness of the end-customer and impact.
    • Enable scale: Apply standards, execute processes and related tasks, and leverage and share best practices. This includes providing suggestions to optimize repetitive tasks or enable end-customer autonomy where relevant. Support knowledge management activities (acquire, document and share knowledge) to increase speed and effectiveness.
    • Stakeholder Communication & Support: Respond to internal (or external) stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure follow-up for efficient closure of requests. . Communicate efficiently in a virtual - often workflow or email-oriented - set-up towards successful outcomes. Share successes and build on learnings.
    • Execute with speed & quality (as per related agreed service level agreement - SLA): Deliver even repetitive tasks with attention and focus, refine actions, or work to automate them. Execution may relate to content creation, preparation of specific materials, data analysis, reports etc.
    • Enable execution excellence: Share ideas to simplify tasks, tools, or workflow management to enhance collaboration and optimize execution of daily tasks and relevant requests. 
    • Support system use/automation:   Enable end-users to leverage systems or applications, execute on their behalf where relevant, support migrations, help on escalations, manage authorizations� Collect reoccurring issues, report on frequent errors, and recommend solutions as needed.  
    • Ensure data stewardship including data creation, data enhancements, or maintenance. Maintain tools or systems for tracking, processing, or reporting. 
    • Serve as vacation/illness back-up and enable a smooth transition and handover to maintain a good customer experience.
  • Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS 

    Experience & Language Requirements

    • 3+ years of professional working experience. Shared services, administrative, or operations experience is of advantage; English: Level 3: Fluent (Able to fluently understand and communicate verbally and in writing)

    Education

    • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent)

    START DATE: JULY 2020
