SAP's Strategic Customer Program (SCP) is the top of the SAP GTM pyramid. SCP works with SAP’s largest and most strategic customers globally and is responsible for driving account strategy, managing the account relationship across all SAP LOBs (software and services), building C-level relationships, and managing the business to achieve revenue targets and lay the foundation for future growth.

SAP is building a new vertical within the Strategic Customer Program, in partnership with SAP’s Global Private Equity practice, with an initial pilot of a large global Private Equity (PE) firm that owns approximately 300 companies. This unique position will support the Managing Partner responsible for building this business, and building and executing the GTM strategy to stand up a new PE vertical within SCP and build a scalable business with repeatable processes. This pilot has high level executive visibility with sponsorship from 2 SAP Global Department Heads and a Board Member.

EXPECTATION AND TASKS

The candidate will assist the Managing Partner with the end to end aspects of standing up a new Private Equity Business Channel within SAP’s North America Strategic Client Program.  The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to influence and support the development of the new business strategy by enlisting the right resources, executing and setting standardized/repeatable processes and executing go to market strategies that will drive significant revenue growth in this new Strategic Client segment for SAP.

Activities will include:

• Analysis and segmentation of portfolio companies
• Identify and quantify the whitespace opportunity
• Develop and assist in execution of campaigns including portfolio communication, webinars, and customer specific events. This includes segmentation and targeting, developing PE relevant messaging working with LOB SME’s, and building scalable, repeatable, one to many marketing processes.
• Assist with building a scalable process for Field enablement and communication, to ensure proper sales coverage by Region, Customer Segment, and Solution LOB.
• Assist in developing KPI’s and the reporting and analytics around portfolio companies for PE Firm Stakeholders and SAP Leadership

• Strong Power Point presentation skills – required for Marketing Campaigns and Executive meetings (Internal and with client)
