    PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

    In SAP SuccessFactors, the Value Experience (VX) team are the trusted advisors and solution experts who articulate the value of our solutions and ensure our customers understand how to harness the power of SuccessFactors to achieve breakthrough results.

    Within VX, the Strategy & Innovation (S&I) Office was created to differentiate SuccessFactors as the HXM partner of choice by empowering Sales, Presales and the Value Experience team with assets and capabilities that drive great experiences.

    EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

    The S&I Office internship will play a key role in helping drive new innovations that serve the ‘volume’ business for SuccessFactors, including;

    • Setting / refining the strategy and focus areas for a scale approach to serving smaller / shorter-cycle sales opportunities for the small and medium enterprise market
    • Building out the engagement model, success measures and repeatable processes that can be deployed as part of a regional pilot
    • Developing scalable tools, templates and methods that provide a quick turnaround time for value-based selling approaches
    • Executing the defined approach by working with sales executives and experience Value Advisors to support specific sales opportunities through early stage engagement, sales strategy and value case development 
    • Position and execute HXM benchmarking and value case development using the vision to value methodology
    • Assist on other elements of the overall scale approach including the Value Hub, Value Lab community calls and self-service materials for sales executives

  • Qualifications

    Prior experience:

    • Consulting and market analysis experience highly desirable
    • Exposure to cloud sales processes and business models would be advantageous
    • Understanding of / exposure to HR processes not required but would be favorable
    • Strong communication skills
    • Excellent quantitative and analytical background
    • Comfortable with technology
    • Expert-level skills in Excel and PowerPoint
    • Hands on self-starter who can take high level instructions and ‘figure it out’
    • Flexibility, and comfort with ambiguity
    • Ability to boil down complex concepts or large amounts of information into simple ideas for executive communications
    • Can operate well on a virtual and global team across multiple time zones
    • Takes direct accountability and end-to-end ownership for work and results
    • Detail oriented and ability to juggle multiple projects / programs successfully
    • Proactive and co-operative nature with a positive approach to overcoming and solving problems
    • Ability to work in highly complex structures and environments with multiple stakeholders
    • Fluent English language, any other language a bonus

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Undergraduate degree in applied sciences (e.g. engineering, technology), business, finance or HR
    • Current MBA student or recent graduate from a globally ranked program
