 SAP HANA Information Management supports the critical capabilities to architect, integrate, improve and manage trusted, complete and relevant data. YOUR ROLE

As part of a very dynamic team, the developer will play a critical role to design and develop applications on SAP HANA and Big Data.
You would deliver amazing software solutions based on HTML5 (JavaScript, NodeJS, jQuery, CSS).
You understand the requirements, work collaboratively in a lean development model and develop high quality software that delights SAP customers.

You will be responsible for the user experience research, planning, design and assessment of the applications UI. Interpreting business requirements into effective UI and server-side specifications
 definition, creation, production and review of user interface and usability requirements
. Work collaboratively with development and solution management from diverse technical, creative and business backgrounds.

You will collaborate with teams in USA and Walldorf.

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

As a development engineer in the SAP HANA EIM team you will be working with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues. You will need to:

• Feel responsible for the research and development of the SAP HANA IM Platform, in strong cooperation with our customers and across locations and time zones
.
• Identify relevant technology trends and drive education in related domains
. Be able to multiply your skills by actively mentoring other resources within the team.

Be a strong, committed, reliable team player with a strong service ethic; as well as being a proactive networker, a self-starter and self-motivated

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• BS or MS in Computer science with 2 years of professional work experience in software development.
• Full stack development experience with ability to design and implement complex features end-to-end
• Proficient in at least two programming languages such as JAVASCRIPT, NODE.JS

• UI development experience using HTLM5, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, JSON, REST

• Expertise in one more frameworks such as JQUERY, D3. JS, BOOTSTRAP

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


• Experience in CONTINUOUS INTEGRATION, CONTINUOUS DEPLOYMENT, AND INFRASTRUCTURE AUTOMATION
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, and product managers
• Experience in building applications on cloud platforms such as HANA CLOUD PLATFORM, AWS
• Preferred experience in using SAP UI5 / OPENUI5 for build user interfaces
• 
Experience in using HADOOP, SPARK, KAFKA AND CASSANDRA FOR DATA PROCESSING
• 
Strong problem-solving skill and team-oriented work ethic

• Proven track record of delivering quality, mission critical enterprise applications
• 
Good verbal and written communication skills and working well with remote team are essential

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
