PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

Greatly improve the search experience for our customers by converting legacy Ariba product documentation to DITA topics. This content is currently published as PDF files only. After it’s converted to topics, it will be published as HTML.

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

• Analyze structure of the content in the Ixiasoft authoring system.
• Organize the content and break it down into small, standalone, consumable chunks.
• Modify existing content and write new content accordingly.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize information for an external audience.
• Experience with DITA authoring is helpful but not required.
• Ability to write and edit content. Must provide writing samples.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Technical Communication or Journalism preferred. A certificate in technical writing is acceptable.
