PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

In this intern position, you will be working on a diverse team that makes up the North America Presales Design Services team that creates customer support materials for key/high revenue sales accounts. The team is focused on improving the customer experience for demos, events, and meetings leveraging advanced video production and graphic designs.

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

As an intern, you will work on deliverables that will enhance the customer experience at events and support the creation of multi-customer assets that can be leveraged by the field.  Typically, artwork and videos will be created and manipulated using Adobe and Microsoft software.  During the internship, you will enhance your graphic design, video production, motion media, and animation skills as well as learn how to work with virtual teams across multiple time-zones while completing projects under tight deadlines. Candidates will be expected to take content provided, visualize or storyboard the content and animated, photo-based, or live-action videos. Will be also tasked with creating PowerPoints, posters, booklets, placemats, UI mockups as needed.

Travel: 0-10% (if current climate allows)

SOFTWARE PROFICIENCIES:

• Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, Photoshop, Audition
• Microsoft Office Professional suite
• Camtasia Studio (will provide instruction)

REQUIRED:

• Post-Production (animation, compositing, sound optimization, etc.)
• Vector and Graphic manipulation 
• Ability to work virtually in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional image
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects
• Ability to work independently. Self-guided and motivated
• Strong project management and critical thinking

WILLINGNESS TO LEARN:

• Video production (live-action filming, DSLR, etc.)
• 360 filming/post-production
• Augmented and Virtual Reality
• Mobile interface mockups 
• Sketching

Eligible degrees include bachelors or masters in film, animation, visual arts, and graphic design, digital art, user experience, user interface design, web design, video production, animator, motion media.
