WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will be responsible for social media, graphic creation, media capture, and post-production. You will work with our team to create content promoting initiatives at SAP Silicon Valley. These initiatives range from SAP executive and employee programs and interviews, to corporate social responsibility and community engagement. Your work environment will be creative, dynamic, and fast paced. Your videography and multimedia productions will have impact and reach stakeholders, strategic customers, and their users. Other responsibilities include social media content curation, maintaining equipment, archiving content, and media management.

THE SPECIFICS:

• You must be currently enrolled pursuing either a Masters, Bachelors or PhD and/or a recent graduate of no more than six months past to qualify for this position.
• 40 hours per week
• This is a paid internship position starting asap
• Start Date: February / March 2018
• End Date: February / March 2019

WHO YOU ARE:

You are a natural storyteller and are passionate about capturing experiences through digital media. You are well versed in videography, photography, storyboarding, post-production, social media, and other forms of media documentation. The complete spectrum of the media process excites you. You can interpret people’s experiences and capture them in a human-centered, compelling way. You are self-driven to solve complex problems but also aspire to be a part of a collaborative team. You believe in the power of co-creative design, building on the ideas of others while bringing your unique perspective to projects.

You can work across disciplines but draw from the following in-depth:

• Strong storytelling/scripting skills applicable across multiple platforms (video, photo, sound, etc.) that can be used to engage and inform our users.
• Approach projects with the vision of the producer, director, and editor.
• Advanced video editing experience (familiarity with Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite including Premiere Pro CC, After Effects and Audition).
• Advanced photo editing experience (familiarity with Adobe tools such as Photoshop).
• Experience operating variety of camera setups, audio equipment, and lights highly preferred.
• Proficiency in major social media platforms and knowledge of best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
