The Global Services Sales Operations and GTM team drives strategic programs, sales enablement, corporate communications, and performance management reporting for the Global Services Sales organization. The team’s focus is designing and maintaining a globally-integrated Go-To-Market model, as well as drive both operational and sales programs across lines of Service for all regions. 

We are seeking an MBA student to join our Services Sales Operations team as a Data Analyst Intern.  As part of this team, the Data Analyst Intern will work with Global and Regional Leadership to provide critical insight into sales performance and trends leveraging various data sources and reporting platforms.  Success on this team requires the ability to quickly adapt to the culture and values of the Services Sales Business, rapidly ramp up on in-flight programs, build influential relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and work effectively to help balance different priorities. Understanding the levers to effectively manage cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment is crucial. This MBA internship opportunity is intended to be a six to twelve-month engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance of standardized sales reporting
• Provide ad-hoc sales reporting occasionally under tight deadlines
• Compile data, analyze, and effectively present findings in an efficient and polished manner for respective audiences
• Work with senior leadership to rapidly assess and understand business reporting needs 
• Collaborate with Regional Sales, Service Delivery, and Finance to secure current and reliable data for reporting efforts 
• Own the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting
• Think beyond initial stakeholder requests and proactively provide useful insight
• Evaluate reporting tools and processes and recommend reporting improvements
• Interface with various IT teams to develop automated standard reporting
• Build and execute a clear communication cadence that aggregates key sales reporting data
• Proactively contribute to the creation, improvement, and maintenance of key sales reporting program materials

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous sales reporting experience supporting a global high-tech organization 
• Working knowledge of project management fundamentals and best practices
• Comfortable and effective at pulling together cross-functional teams and building strong, trusted relationships with global stakeholders
• Previous work experience on a virtual team; comfortable with managing virtual stakeholders
• Previous work experience supporting a global organization and working inter-culturally 
• Conversational familiarity with software industry norms and practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Language skills: excellent English mandatory
• Flexibility to accommodate global time zones on occasion
• Software skills: MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP BW reporting
• At least two-three years of previous work experience in professional office environment
• Availability: at least 20 hours/week during school year, 40 hours/week during academic breaks 
• Currently registered in an accredited MBA program
• Authorized to work in the United States
