PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

The Global Services Sales – Strategic Projects team manages projects that are typically sponsored by senior management or Board members and primarily focus on Services Sales strategy, incubation of new services sales channels and services sales operations improvements.

This MBA internship position is intended to be a 6 to 12 months engagement with the main objective to support the program managers in the GSS – Strategic Projects team with driving and executing the active projects.

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

Support the program managers in the Global Services Sales – Strategic Projects team with:

• Perform project management tasks.
• Own components and deliverables of the assigned projects.
• Create senior management and Board level presentations and status updates.  Ability to visualize complex topics and a graphic design background are a plus.
• Direct interaction with regional and global senior management in the Services Sales organization, so excellent communication skills are required.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to see both the big pictures and the critical details.
• Ability to work in a virtual team.
• Willingness to learn new things and not afraid to jump into topics outside of the comfort zone.
• Graphic design background.
• Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.  Proficiency in graphic design applications is a plus.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Currently registered in an accredited MBA program
• Intended internship duration: 6 to 12 months
• Availability: at least 20 hours a week during school year and 40 hours a week during academic breaks

• Authorized to work in the US
• Professional working experience in a global organization
• Flexible and independent working style
