Our software company is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our growing team. We’re looking for a driven, ambitious individual who wants to create a career in social media and content marketing. The ideal applicant will possess strong writing skills, a creative edge, and a working knowledge of the digital media landscape, including various social media sites.

The successful candidate will work with the Marketing department to devise and develop compelling marketing content—from inception to the final product. The candidate will also monitor and post to blogs and social networks, engage in online forums, and participate in online outreach and promotion. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop compelling marketing content, including press releases and articles
• Create engaging blog and social media content
• Monitor and post to social networks on behalf of the company
• Develop and drive content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis
• Provide support to our digital marketing efforts

• Bachelor’s Degree (or pursuing) in Marketing or Communications
• Demonstrated experience with content creation
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative
• Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and strategies
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and creative design software
