    What you'll do:

    The mission of the Experiential Marketing team within Global Marketing is to create consistent digital, virtual and physical customer experiences that increase SAP Marketing’s contribution to business results. The purpose of the Business Management Office (BMO) team within Experiential Marketing is to provide operational excellence to support and optimize the business outcome. The BMO core operations services include:

    • Integrated Marketing Planning
    • Process Management & Optimization
    • Finance & Governance
    • Performance Management & Insights

    Reporting to the Head Business Management Office, your role as Marketing Operations Intern for Performance Management & Insights is to support the team to provide Insights into the performance of Experiential Marketing channels and disciplines and make recommendations to optimize our business contribution

    As such your responsibilities include support for:

    • Strategic KPIs
    • Business Reviews Insights & Analysis
    • Measurement & Reporting

    More specifically, you are expected to provide analytics support to the team performing the following tasks:

    • Creation of measurement frameworks for marketing effectiveness across the customer journey, including paid, owned, and earned media channels
    • Execute and monitor measurement frameworks through the adoption of business intelligence tools
    • Benchmark internal and external performance of key metrics, and determine applicability of benchmarks (for example, brand health, social media share of voice, social media engagement rates, cost per lead, lead-to-close velocity, marketing contribution to revenue, share of voice, engagement rates, net promoter score)
    • Provide insights into end-to-end performance and ROI analysis of our marketing campaigns (including forecasted impact) and major marketing activities (for example, digital campaigns, global physical events, and so on)
    • Socialize and communicate performance management results and insights through Business Reviews, presentations, data visualizations, and communications

    Who you are:

    We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

    Required skills

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or quantitative analysis or related field
    • Superior Analytical mind with the ability to assess and process information from various sources
    • Strong communication skills in English with the ability to translate metrics and analytical terms into business terms
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and to some extent Power Point
    • Experience of using web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics preferred)
    • Positive team spirit with the ability to work in virtual teams
    • High customer service orientation

    Preferred skills

    • Knowledge of Python and any statistical tool is an advantage
