Responsibilities

• Work with other team members to develop and implement targeted Social Media Strategy
• Write, review, and customize marketing material for social media platforms, creating audience-appropriate, on-brand messaging
• Manage all social media platforms and work with other team members to promote new products, events, and relevant media mentions
• Track competition, follow trends, and monitor mentions Promote website updates, link new content, engage customers, direct customer queries
• Monitor social media groups, trends, tools, and applications and recommend actions/next steps
• Monitor the company's social media performance usage reports and tracking search engine results
• Apply creative thinking and initiative to analyze site performance metrics and make recommendations for content, site design and features to improve effectiveness of web content and/or applications
• Respond to social media inquiries about online activities in a timely and courteous fashion
• Write new entries for company blog keeping it updated with latest company and industry updates
• Set up most suitable social media tools to automate various social media management tasks
• Help write company messaging and preparing presentations and other collateral material
• Stay current on emerging trends and new channels in social media and apply to company’s social media strategy
• Assist with visual design and wireframing as-and-when needed
• Software and technical skills are an added plus
• Content Writing Experience (Please share writing samples of any)
• Interest in emerging tech/software is a must

• Proven ability to grow a social media audience (eg managed campus group social media or managed social media for a company or organization with positive results)
• Social Media Management Tools like Hootsuite
• Ability to derive insights and recommendations from Google Analytics or similar
• Managing paid media like Google Adwords
• Graphic Design Tools like Sketch, Figma or Adobe Illustrator
• Prior blog, newsletter or other similar professional public writing experience
