PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

SAP Portfolio & Solution Management and Customer Experience operations team is seeking intern to support critical business activities, including: customer meetings, marketing and communications, as well as general business administration. Ongoing projects will include collecting and editing bi-weekly management reports, managing customer tracking documents, working closely with marketing on new customer success stories, some budget and HR management, in addition to organizing speakers for leadership meetings and other cross-team events with high-visibility, etc.

This is a fast-paced environment and a nimble, results-oriented team who is looking for someone that is detail oriented and brings a positive attitude, ready to embrace the opportunity to manage high-profile projects. This position will be full-time, approximately 40 hours per week on an ongoing basis. While based in Palo Alto, you will work with colleagues around the world. Start date is immediate with a preferred one-year tenure. You will also have an opportunity to participate in the local intern program and become part of the 2018 cohort at SAP.

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

• Create briefing documents, track and monitor customer meetings and activities, trends in technology, and internal projects based on self-researched information
• Support the office of the Senior Vice President of SAP Leonardo | Analytics in day-to-day operations, e.g. managing the bi-weekly report submissions, budget and headcount requests, and customer success tracking from across the team to update internal collaboration platforms
• Support the Team in content creation and review (e.g. documents, presentations)
• Knowledge Management, e.g. make sure work is accessible on a shared repository for the team
• Support with planning and execution of events

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• Students working toward a Bachelors in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
• Excellent Microsoft application (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) skills
• Willing to take responsibility and to learn with a “Get-it-done” attitude, detail-oriented and highly organized to multitask
• Goal-focused, team player with the ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment that always changes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Duration: 6-12 months, longer preferred
