Our goal for the Summer Intern is to provide the student with real-life business experience while giving him/her the opportunity to learn about our industry in a setting that will broaden an entry level candidate’s professional experiences while promoting self-confidence, accomplishment and career development. This specific opportunity is to work with our Enterprise Accounts Team where the Summer Intern will work in a variety of areas including Project Management and Market Research. The ideal candidate understands the basics of Project Management and Software Development to support a rapidly growing and innovative business.

Essential Duties

• Ensure assigned project’s action items are completed in the allotted time
• Assist Project Managers with documenting meetings and follow up on tasks
• Ensure reference materials (such as Gantt charts, schedules, meeting notes, Power Points and other process documentation) are updated, accurate and grammatically correct
• May perform other duties related to daily operations and assist with special initiatives

Knowledge/Experience

• Basics of Software Development / Cycle / Implementation / Deployment
• Basics of Project Management

  Skills

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow through until processes are completed are desired
• Excellent proofreading and writing skills are required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Proficiency with computer systems all Microsoft Office products including MS Project (preferably online versions)
• Be a team player

Education

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Engineering, Management Information Systems or relevant degree
• GPA: 3.0 or higher
