    ABOUT THE TEAM

    The Global Center of Expertise is a division of SAP’s Digital Business Service’s Delivery unit. Our mission is to deliver world-class services to support SAP’s premium-level customers under the umbrella of MaxAttention, Active Attention, and Enterprise Support customers.

    The Global COE provides a meticulous, strategic service to SAP’s largest customers operating on the most complex SAP landscapes. We interact with individuals at every level of the customer’s organization in order to meet the customer’s needs. The role of a CoE team member is demanding and requires passionate individuals with the strongest technical expertise and excellent analytical and communication skills. The role is tasked with planning, architecting, analyzing, optimizing, and safeguarding our customers’ SAP solutions.

     

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    Position title: SAP COE iXp Intern - SAP Analytics

    Location: Newtown Square, PA - please note that roles will be remote until local guidelines ensure safe office reopenings

    Internship Duration: September 2021 for 6 months

     

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

     

    You will support as an intern in the DBS Global Center of Expertise with our mission is to inspire our customers to optimize their business processes with cutting edge SAP technologies, enabling them to realize new business models and becoming an intelligent enterprise, by unleashing the full potential of SAP as a true innovation and business platform. 

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to project and customer needs.
    • Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines.
    • A record of taking initiative (self-starter), driving results and accepting increasing levels of responsibility.
    • Must be able to problem solver, learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively

     

    WHO YOU ARE:

    We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

     

    • Registered graduate student in computer science, business informatics or related field
    • Structured work behavior and analytical thinking
    • Strong organizational skills
    • The ability to work independently and produce high quality deliverables
    • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
    • Development experience in one or more programming/scripting languages like Java, ABAP, HTML5, Java Script, node.js, C, C++, Objective C, C#, ASP, .NET, and PHP. 3+ university courses or class project experience in C++ or JAVA preferred.
    • Technical skills in SQL, Database (SQL) knowledge, database management, business intelligence, enterprise performance management, data mining, systems administration.
    • Understanding of relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Sybase, MaxDB, DB2 etc.
