WHAT YOU’LL DO:

EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: June 10 ,2019 – August 16, 2019

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

• Have the unique opportunity to design, develop and deliver on components on Ariba’s Data Platform
• Build Big Data Pipelines to Extract, Transform and Load data for the purposes to building AI/ML and analytics application.
• Design and develop Microservices, RESTful APIs for the data platform
• Works closely with peers in a world-class product development organization to continually improve the quality and usability of components through an agile development process
• Optimizes performance and tunes system behavior to make our largest customers successful

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Working on BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• Proficient with OO programming and Java/J2EE
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Independent, highly motivated and energetic

Preferred

• Quick learner with a passion for solving tough problems
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills
• Strong knowledge of relational database, SQL, Spark
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Successful track record in writing high quality code
• Good knowledge of computer science fundamentals and algorithms
• Familiarity with writing test cases using Junit
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with SAP HANA
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environment
