WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

• Position Title:  SAP Ariba iXp Intern – Infrastructure Services Cobalt Team

• Location:  Palo Alto, CA

• Expected start date to end date:  June 11, 2018 – August 17, 2018

Be part of Tools and Infrastructure team which builds the application and deployment platform on which the SAP Ariba cloud applications run.  We build and improve the NextGen development and deployment platform to manage the development and deployment of SAP Ariba’s cloud microservices.  We also build the framework(s) and technology required to move Ariba’s services to public cloud.

        PRIMARY TASKS :

• Evaluate/Implement/Enhance tools for Cloud Monitoring, Log collection and reporting, APM, CI/CD, Secret Management and Deployment for private and public clouds

• Help enhance SAP Ariba’s CI/CD pipeline which makes use of Docker, Consul, Nomad, Vagrant, Vault, Jenkins, Artifactory and Netsil

   

  WHO YOU ARE:

  We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.  

• You are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Masters program studying Computer Science or a related discipline

• You have experience, coursework, or an interest in learning one or more of the following: Docker, Vagrant, Consul, Jenkins, Artifactory, Public Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)

• You are local the to Bay Area
