    Are you a creative individual with a passion for graphic design and a knack for transforming data into visually compelling stories? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Design and Data Visualization Intern to join our dynamic team.

    Position title: Business Operations Graphic Data Visualization & Communications Intern

    Location: (Flexible/Remote options available)

    Expected start/end date: January 8 – July 5, 2024

    What you’ll do:

    1. Graphic Design: * Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various digital materials such as email templates and infographics. * Collaborate with the marketing and communication teams to develop engaging visual content for internal communications and powerpoint presentations.
    2. Data Visualization: * Work closely with the data analytics team to transform complex data sets into clear and impactful visualizations. * Develop charts, graphs, and dashboards to communicate key insights and trends effectively. * Refine PowerPoint presentations to fit with SAP’s latest brand guidance and ensure content layout and material is consumable by the intended audience.
    3. Software Proficiency: * Utilize graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create high-quality visuals. * Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for the creation of presentations and reports.
    4. Communication Skills: * Ability to build great visual communications or newsletters that are optimized for engagement * Effectively communicate design concepts and data insights to team members and stakeholders. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver visually stunning results.

    What you’ll bring:

    • Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio showcasing creative and professional work.
    • Proficiency in graphic design software.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Works well independently – you are someone who doesn’t need a lot of structure and can figure things out independently.
    • Proactive – you will figure out how to solve problems and proactively suggest ideas for things you could help with.

    Bonus Skills:

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Experience with data visualization tools.

    Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $19 - $40 hour USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
