What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP CXII Recommerce iXp Intern – Software Developer

Location: SAP, San Ramon, CA.

Expected start date to end date: May 13, 2024 – August 19, 2024

• Build Microservices using Java, Springboot and MongoDB

• Build the Recommerce UI using SAP UI5, React

Customers demand an easy and fast way to buy and trade in preowned items from their brands of choice. Fashion Brands require a scalable, integrated solution to harvest the value of preloved goods and maintain customer loyalty, with key insight into sustainability, and financial and operational metrics.

Business impact and Value Drivers using SAP Recommerce Platform:

• Sustainability commitment & transparency: Extend fashion product and materials life and helps customers make greener choices.

• Sell preowned items and increase consumer's budget : Provide customers with the right incentive and brand experience to continue consciously consuming.

• Recommerce as business driver : Unlock new revenue streams by reselling goods and services of pre-owned & new items.

• Enable goods condition validation and reconditioning : Manage goods condition validation and reconditioning processes, in-house or with 3rd party vendors, in a timely consistent and accurate manner, at scale.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
