    A few years ago, SAP Concur launched the SAP Concur App Center (www.concur.com/appcenter) offering customers a listing of pre-built solutions that work seamlessly with SAP Concur.  The App Center offers a way for prospects to see how SAP Concur is different than the competition; a way for clients to find solutions that are prebuilt to work with what they already have; and a way for users to connect their SAP Concur accounts with the apps that let them travel simple.  The foundation of the SAP Concur App Center is a myriad of partners across industries who provide simple, targeted solutions to SAP Concur client’s everyday problems.   

     

    Join the App Center Technical Enablement team and help partners integrate into the SAP Concur App Center.  As a technical resource on the App Center platform, you will play crucial roles across the Partner Journey to help them succeed as an SAP Concur partner. 

      WHAT YOU'LL DO  

    We hire Technical Platform Partnership interns that are passionate about solving technical problems and impacting millions of end-users. We recognize that intern contributions fuel some of our greatest innovations. That’s why we assign students to our toughest challenges and most forward-thinking projects. This summer, we are looking for an intern to: 

    • Learn to lead technical discussions with partners as they evaluate the Concur Platform. Partners are focused on validating the technical feasibility of proposed integrations and want to ensure a stable, reliable, and trouble-free experience.  
    • Conduct technical meetings and presentations to potential or existing Concur partners of our Platform – its APIs, authentication methodology, integrations, and certification process. 
    • Gather functional requirements from partners, evaluate their needs and configure a solution that helps them begin development. 
    • Create project scoping documents that outline the process and steps necessary to develop the partner’s application and integration scenarios to SAP Concur.  
    • Resolve Platform/API questions for partner’s development resources. 
    • Identify critical Partner integration scenarios that aren’t supported by the current APIs and assist R&D/Marketing teams to develop new APIs or identify unique approaches to meet the scenarios. 
    • Assist with troubleshooting issues with partner integration projects 
    • Participate in special projects such as working with R&D to design new features or functionality 
    • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS: WHAT IT TAKES 

    Our continued growth is dependent upon talented people with a variety of skills, knowledge and backgrounds. We hire Technical Interns with experience in all the following areas: 

    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience 
    • Quick learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment 
    • Strong computer skills 
    • Ability to follow instructions and incorporate feedback 
    • Excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and sales skills 
    • Solid written documentation skills 
    • Planning and project management skills 
    • Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors, and ability to view problems from different angles and perspectives 
    • Ability to pass a background check 
    • Exposure to business application software and/or financial software (Travel & Expense, Payables, General Accounting, Project Accounting) preferred 
    • Working knowledge of application development, OAuth, and RESTful APIs preferred 
    • Working knowledge of software-as-a-service architecture preferred

     

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    What we’re looking for: 

    • Pursuit of Bachelor’s degree, Computer Science or Information Systems preferred 
    • A plus would be specific experience with REST APIs, JSON Resource Design, languages used to implement services like Java/JavaScript/Python etc.
