ABOUT THE TEAM: The Business Analyst Intern will work closely with the Global Business Development, TMC Services and Sales Operations teams to analyze the current effectiveness of SAP Concur’s travel management company (TMC) partner channel.  Additionally, this analyst intern will produce recommendations and options for maximizing financial and operational effectives of the TMC partner channel.

The successful candidate will possess a passion for consuming current financial and operational data and providing unique insights and recommendations.  The analyst must be comfortable quickly learning both existing business and data models as well as considering future/likely models as they perform their work and their application/implementation within SAP Concur’s data systems.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

POSITION TITLE: SAP Concur iXp Intern- Business Analyst, Global Business Development

LOCATION: Bellevue, Wa

EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: January 2020 -August 2020

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and leverage existing data and reporting to analyze trends and provide input and recommendations that will help improve sales efficiency and performance metrics.
• Assist with channel business model analysis (current state) and possible modifications (future state) to align this partner channel to SAP Concur’s goals for the channel.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to consume new and existing data sources to measure and model partner channel
• Interact regularly with the business development, TMC Services, finance and sales operations organizations.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• Finance and/or economics is an ideal college major
• Data/financial analysis classwork and/or experience
• Statistical/quantitative analysis classwork and/or experience
• Quantitative analysis, Excel and logical reasoning

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Statistical/financial/economic analysis
• Familiarity with salesforce.com and Tableau a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and creatively.
• Demonstrates self-motivation with a strong team-oriented attitude.
• Creativity in developing actionable recommendations.
• Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand.
