What You'll Do:

• Embed within an end-to-end engineering team
• Design, implement, test, and document efficient, readable, and maintainable software
• Explain and reason about your implementation choices with your peers and mentors
• Support the software in QA and Production environments

About the team:

• We are responsible for delivering a scalable, robust, and extensible set of foundational services upon which SAP Concur's business applications are built.
• We are obsessed with ownership, performance, metrics, resiliency, failure proofing, scalability.
• The team is split across two continents (North America and Asia), and we collaborate with teams all around the globe.

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning. You are passionate about software development.

You have experience with some or more of the following:

• Clojure (or Scheme, Lisp, Racket) is a huge plus
• Functional programming
• Databases (relational and/or non-relational)
• Distributed Systems
• AWS
• SQL
• Object Oriented Programming (such as C# or Java)
• Python
