    ABOUT THE TEAM:

    The SMN communications team is dedicated to raising the bar on communications for SMN senior leadership and delivering best-in-class communications for our employees. We work collaboratively with our communications counterparts across SAP Concur, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Our standards are high, we take pride in our work and understand the importance of delivering high-quality products, and we never forget to have fun in the process. We are located on-site in downtown Bellevue at the SAP Concur headquarters.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: June 10, 2019 – August 16, 2019

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

    • Create and assist with various forms of written communication, such as scripts, internal blogs, and other employee-facing content
    • Maintain and update content for executive speeches, appearances, and other forms of communication
    • Research, create, and maintain presentation visuals
    • Partner with employees across the organization to assist with communications planning and execution
    • Participate in brainstorming and planning meetings with teammates and key business partners
    • Organize and develop tools and processes to enhance the team’s ability to create value for senior leadership

    • Currently enrolled in (or a recent graduate of) a bachelor’s or master’s degree program majoring in Journalism, Communication, English, Creative Writing, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or a related major
    • Demonstrated storytelling experience
    • Understanding of and passion for business strategy
    • Professional demeanor and poise to work with senior leaders
    • Proven ability to develop effective communication with minimal editing
    • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Proven self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
    • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Proven ability to safeguard confidential information
