ABOUT THE TEAM:

At Cloud InfrasServices Engineering team, we are redefining a new way of providing cloud services within SAP Concur.  We are on a mission to automate all infrastructure provisioning, from Compute as a Service, Database as a Service, Storage as a Service, Networking as a Service and more, to redefine a better way of doing product development in the company.  We enable developers to work better with cloud services.

EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: June 10, 2019 – August 16, 2019

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

• Develop full-stack applications from front-end to back-end and operations.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solution as part of our product offerings.
• Develop across the full-stack on a variety of technologies including NodeJS, Python, PowerShell, Docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Leverage the latest and greatest AWS Cloud technologies as you build and innovate.
• Embrace end-to-end ownership and DevOps practices: architect, design, code, test, deploy and monitor your software in providing direct value to our customers.
• Learn, as we move fast and are unafraid to venture into the unknown. In order to accomplish this you will need:
• A good understanding and experience with software development principles and practices.
• A passion for writing high quality, robust and scalable code.
• Good analytical and design skills – you should be able to think about problems broadly and deeply.
• Attention to details and strive for excellence in the quality of code you produce.
• A high degree of intellectual curiosity and a lack of fear for learning something new. You should be open to learning from others and also willing to help mentor and teach.

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Love coding.
• Good with one of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, NodeJS, etc.
• Have well understanding with object-oriented programming languages.
• Familiarity with Linux Operating System and open source tools is a plus.
• Must have excellent verbal and communication skills
