ABOUT THE TEAM:

The SAP Concur People Connection team is looking for a highly-motivated, self-starter to support internal communications and events for a 10-week internship based in Bellevue, WA.  The People Connection Team…

• Focuses on creating an environment where employees can be their best selves
• Ensures employees feel connected to their colleagues, leaders, the company culture, and the business
• Believes when our people are at their best, our business is at its best and supports this ideology through the following focus areas: corporate social responsibility, diversity, inclusion and belonging, engagement, recognition and internal communications & events.

In this role, you’ll mainly support internal communications and events with potential of assisting other areas of the People Connection team, as needed or as time allows.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: June 11, 2018 – August 17, 2018; 40 hours/week

N THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

• Gain in-depth knowledge of what it means to support the People Connection team within a global organization.
• Help promote a culture where employees are proud to work for SAP Concur.
• Work collaboratively across the People Connection team to promote a best self environment.
• Focus on projects that connect employees to their colleagues, leaders, SAP Concur culture, and the business
• Strategically develop and execute against communication projects such as blog posts, newsletter articles, social media posts, and communication plans
• Assist with logistics planning and on-site support for internal events such as company meeting, summer happy hours, etc.

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for someone who is strategic, creative, and pays attention to the details. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by their impact.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree—Communications or Marketing is a bonus!
• Experience with core Microsoft office programs
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
