About the team

The SAP Concur MAI (Marketing Analytics & Insights) team is a global group that supports the entire Marketing organization. Marketing data is fascinating, rich and complex. The team’s mission is to help Marketers sort through this complexity to truly understand their data and then to provide recommendations for how to optimize their business decisions. We are looking for someone who is equally passionate about telling stories with data to join our team for a 10-week internship. We recognize that Intern contributions fuel some of our greatest innovations which is why we assign students to some of our toughest challenges. This summer, we are looking for an intern to help us explore new data landscapes by crafting reporting and analytics that supports one of Marketing’s focus areas in 2021.

What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP Concur iXp Intern – Marketing Analytics & Insights Analyst

Location: Bellevue, WA (Remote)

Expected start date to end date: June 7th, 2021 – August 13th, 2021

In this role, you’ll:

• Have the flexibility to choose your own data journey. We will give you several options from which to choose; you determine the path that will drive the most value to the Marketing organization
• Create engaging visualizations and communicate them effectively to marketing leaders
• Provide recommendations to Marketers, using data-driven methods
• Meet and collaborate with Marketers worldwide
• Develop a deep understanding of Marketing data

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Intermediate Tableau Desktop (or a similar BI reporting tool) skills
• Curious data explorer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with proactive project management skills
• Comfortable presenting to an audience with a wide variety of technical skills
• Marketing experience a plus
• Candidates must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program which is applicable to the position
