    ABOUT THE TEAM:

    The SAP Concur User Engagement team is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter to join the team for a 10-week internship based in Bellevue, WA. As part of the Global Product Experience organization at SAP Concur, User Engagement plans and executes programs that help our users adopt our products, unlocking value for our customers. We develop content and reach users with various tools throughout their product experience.

     

    In this role, you will analyze a given opportunity for user engagement, develop a plan, surface any dependencies for execution and create alignment with partner teams. This internship is a great opportunity to understand user engagement/user assistance and get exposure to the product development process. You will also participate in user engagement initiatives across a number of SAP Concur products and markets.

     

    This internship is a good opportunity for a candidate interested in User Experience, User Assistance, Product Marketing or other disciplines where communication and product development intersect.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

     

    POSITION TITLE: SAP Concur iXp Intern – Product Marketing, User Engagement

    LOCATION: Bellevue, WA

    EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: June 2020 – August 2020

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

    • Take on ownership of user engagement efforts for a defined product.
    • Understand the general process for creating and launching user engagement campaigns.
    • Build an appropriate communication strategy for a defined product from the available mix of user engagement tools.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and align on success metrics for an effective campaign launch.
    • Develop user engagement content (informational text).
    • Define content development and production processes within the existing user engagement platform.
    • Surface any product or business dependencies for publishing content within the existing tool.

     

    WHO YOU ARE:

     

    We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

     

     

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good presentation skills.
    • Problem discovery/definition skills – you will be asked to work on projects with limited or no prior examples or data.
    • Ability to work independently on a project with multiple stakeholders.
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the marketing mix – with particular interest and focus on product, people, and process.
    • Candidates must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in business, marketing, communications or other relevant discipline.
