The Product Security team at SAP Concur strives to offer best-in-class services that enable developers to do their job efficiently and shorten feedback loops. We integrate and tune security tools and services to help developers write secure code and minimize their attack surface. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

POSITION TITLE: SAP Concur iXp Intern - Product Security Software Developer  

LOCATION: Bellevue, WA

EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: June 8 ,2020 – August 14, 2020

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

• Work with software development teams and other security staff to identify security tool inefficiencies and gaps
• Identify opportunities for improvement in tools and processes used for vulnerability identification and assignment
• Carve out your own responsibilities where a need is identified.
• Find solutions rather than problems in response to the needs of a given business unit.
• Design and drive improvements in security tooling through automation of vulnerability data processing and assignment
• Develops integrations between security tools and systems through design and process reviews, definition and check of security controls
• Drive the closure of potential security or privacy findings, in collaboration with the R&D teams
• Represent the Concur Security team with a final project presentation to the leaders of our organization

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or masters degree program which is applicable to the position (computer science or equivalent proven experience).
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, Java, SQL/NoSQL
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Analytical skills – identify and define problems; determine probable causes; suggest solutions.
• Attention to detail – follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data.
• Planning and organizing – organizes and prioritize work.
• Teamwork – solicit ideas and opinions of other team members in a multicultural and international environment.
