ABOUT THE TEAM:

SAP Concur’s Runtime Reliability team is the interface between Engineering and our customers. We build the last mile of testing for both our commercial and public sector customers. We ensure we are testing valid customer use cases, preventing issues from making it to production when we can, and detecting production issues before our customers do. We measure what we see as actual site performance reliability and create broad visibility and insight into their issues.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

POSITION TITLE: SAP Concur iXp Intern – Runtime Reliability Engineer

LOCATION: Vienna, VA

EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: June 8 ,2020 – August 14, 2020

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

• Develop and execute cloud-based automated tests, investigate failures and suggest software reliability improvements.
• Develop tools and frameworks to support RR organizational goals.
• Work on cloud-based testing infrastructure

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or Master’s degree program which is applicable to the position (computer science or equivalent proven experience).
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Demonstrable programming skills (Java preferred)
• Familiarity with Agile software engineering principles.
• Basic understanding of development.
• Strong communication skills that include the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
• Preferred experience: familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium Webdriver, CI/CD tools using Jenkins, Github. Experience building cloud applications (eg. Google Cloud Platform, AWS and Azure).
