SMB Presales at SAP Concur is an organization full of highly talented and passionate individuals that love sharing their subject matter expertise with prospects and customers. SMB Presales supports the sales motion with small to medium businesses globally with 1,000 or less employees. SAP Concur provides intelligent spend management solutions supporting corporate travel, expenses, and accounts payable needs.

What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP Concur iXp Intern- SMB Presales Location: Remote Expected start date to end date: May 2021 – August 2021

In this role, you’ll:

…be working for SAP Concur’s Small and Medium Business Distribution Team, where you will be learning on-the-job by remotely supporting US Sales and Presales in a diverse number of ways, ranging from primary creative activities like storytelling, video editing & production, whiteboard animations to secondary activities like doing customer research. This will give you the opportunity to learn how a world-class and industry-recognized distribution team delivers value to our customers while gaining a tremendous commercial sense. You will work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Additionally, you will be able to: • Perform data analysis work on our invoice consulting activities from the first half of this year and help identify trends in the types of opportunities, engagement models, the success of engagements, and where there are opportunities to increase exposure. • Assistance researching, creating and maintaining our value model supporting our business cases. • Generation of Top 25 followed by managing Monday Review Sessions. • Managing a component of Presales Boost Reporting Framework generation and distribution providing wonderful insights into how a business can be measured, incented, and executed. • Generation of data and support for Power BI Analytics and dashboards measuring the success of Digital Presales program.

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

Business:

• University/college student with a Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics or Business Studies degree qualification
• Good understanding of IT market and trends
• Appreciation of technology, internet/web applications, and desktop/office automation software
• Strong interest in sales acumen and technical selling skills
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrable video editing ability a plus
• Experience with digital technology and editing software packages and video distribution platforms (e.g. Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut, Motion, Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, Videolicious, Kaltura) also a plus

Non-Technical:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-confident and a self-starter
• Ability to work in virtual teams – To get a specific job done often requires working together with many colleagues spread out in different countries
• Results in orientation and focus on quality
• Most important is an eagerness to learn!
