ABOUT THE TEAM The Travel Platform team at SAP Concur is seeking a highly motivated and energetic software developer intern to assist in building our next gen travel platform. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Position title: SAP Concur iXp Intern – Software Developer

Location: Bellevue, WA

Expected start date: Jan 16, 2023

In this role, you will join one of our Agile Scrum teams whereou will learn how we develop software in an agile fashion, design, implement, test, and release new features and services in continuous integration and delivery mode. Based on your preference, you will be exposed to both our backend and frontend development. You will touch various technologies, frameworks and tools – React, Redux, TypeScript, Node.js, Java/Spring, REST web services, PostgreSQL, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS and microservice development.

You will be a full member of the team and you will be involved in the entire development cycle. You will take part of all scrum activities such as Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives. You will also have the chance to demo your work to different stakeholders. All of this is done in an innovative, energetic and collaborative environment.

WHO YOU ARE: We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Experience in React or any other equivalent UI technologies
• Experience in Java/TypeScript/Node.js or any other equivalent programming languages
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL
• Knowledge of design patterns
• Experience in developing RESTful web services would be a plus
• Knowledge of test development frameworks would be a plus
• Previous software development work experience would be a plus
• Quick-learner, self-motivated and proactive attitude
• Analytical and problem solving aptitude
• Good written and verbal English

COMPENSATION RANGE TRANSPARENCY: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
