About the team:

• The Strategy Product Management team for SAP Concur is a group of hard working, fun loving, and passionate customer advocates.
• We are globally diverse, including offices in Bellevue, WA; St Louis Park, MN; Vienna, VA; Maidenhead, UK; Paris, France, and St. Leon-Rot, Germany. Not to mention many others who work remotely in equally exciting places.
• We have a diverse set of skills and backgrounds on the team. We hail from major e-commerce companies, accounting and ERP software providers, consulting companies, start-ups, and hardware manufacturers. We have experience in many disciplines like finance, accounting, engineering, product management, IT, and design. We have also done stints in restaurants and retail, so we remember what it is like starting off your career as an intern.
• Our team members enjoy an equally diverse number of hobbies and activities outside of the office. What you’ll do:

Position Title: SAP Concur iXp Intern – Strategy Product Manager, Travel Location: Bellevue, WA Expected start date to end date: June 2021 – August 2021

In this role, you’ll:

• Work with product managers across the Travel org at SAP Concur to create a better understanding of the Concur Travel product in the context of the 5C’s – Customers, Competitors, Company, Climate and Collaborators--, so we can formulate good product strategy for the Concur Travel product over the next 2-5 years.
• Analyze – You’ll review market data and internal product usage data to form the foundation of sound decision-making.
• Recommend – Based on your analysis, you’ll help formulate recommendations for how the Travel product should evolve and where we should spend our limited resources on development
• Present – You’ll take your analysis and recommendations to our leadership and present your findings alongside your full-time colleagues and among your other interns.
• Learn -- You will learn important business skills including team building, presentation and speaking skills, product and market analysis, product management, and strategy development.

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or Master of Business Administration, information systems management, or other similar programs
• Having previous experience in product management, managerial accounting, software analytics, consulting, product marketing, information systems or related fields is advantageous
• Love enabling others to be successful and have a passion for a lifetime of learning
• Possess solid analytical, creative and critical thinking skills with excellent communication ability, both verbal and visual.
• Are interested in SaaS or Web products
