ABOUT THE TEAM:

SAP Fieldglass’s Strategic Consulting Services team serves two primary functions for the business, helping the sales team close new deals and helping the account team support existing customers. On the customer-side, the SCS team drives Fieldglass’s data and analytics delivery. It is our team’s responsibility to develop and build innovative ways for customers to analyze their data in our system. We use this knowledge to help our sales team close deals through customer trends and data-focused ROI calculations. In these two functions, data drives the value of the team.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

• Have the unique opportunity to develop a long-term data strategy for the team and organization.
• Collaborate and innovate with Product, Marketing, Sales and Account Services to understand what questions our customers want answered and how we can leverage it in a sales environment.
• Pull data from SQL to analyze and combine with 3rd party data sources to create new insights and predict user activity.
• Build customer facing analytics and data stories along with broader thought leadership for white papers, industry journals, internal blog posts and more.

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Candidates to currently be enrolled in a master’s degree program which is applicable to the position
• Strong programming skills in SQL
• Experience working with either Python or R
• Strong communication skills that include the ability to effectively translate technical problems into business terms and vice versa
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment working with multiple teams across various geographies
• Preferred experience: experience with 3rd party APIs, worked with unstructured data, knowledge/experience in the non-employee workforce industry
